Yes. Primarily, the faulty connection causes an emissions-related error which indirectly affects the rev-matching feature. It's not unusual to see multiple errors appear as the result of a single failure for subsystems that rely on information from the same sensor.I turned off the auto blip function before leaving the dealership...

Can the error still trigger without the system being used?
For example, if a wheel speed sensor signal is lost on a model with Honda Sensing, the dash will light up like a Christmas tree with error messages from every system that relies on wheel speed data (ABS, VSA, traction control, automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, hill-hold assist, etc.).
