CTR owners, check your front springs

The cars come with spacers inside the springs to prevent damage to the front lip. Most Hondas don't have them, so the PDI tech doesn't have to check.

This PDI tech clearly forgot to remove them. See the orange blocks.

Great post. Thanks for sharing and the reminder. Similar thing happened back in the day when the Mitsu Evo was first arriving to the US in 2003.

great post! we also had to remove these on the s2000's during pdi back in the day, same thing

We have a CTR at work and it's currently sitting on the showroom floor. I will check on Monday if the PDI tech removed the spacer Lol ;).

What happens if they weren't removed before driving?
The car will ride very stiff, and it may cause safety issues. They may also fall off while you're driving. It's best to make sure they're removed before you drive the car.

Yea, best to have these removed. I think they're placed in there at the factory to prevent damage during the shipping process.
