i know many have been looking for the oem black lug nuts which can only be had for $150+ usd by importing from the uk. no more...here's the more cost effective solution. i ordered a set for my new wheels coming.

- adapters for 60 deg conical seats to ball adapters for $1 each or $20 per set - lets you use any conical seat lug nuts on oem wheels: https://motorsporthardware.com/product/conical-seat-to-ball-seat-adapter/

- open ended black conical seat 14x1.5 lug nuts for $2 each or $40 per set - if used with aftermarket wheels then no need to use the adapters above: https://motorsporthardware.com/product/nuts-bolts/

total $60 for use with oem honda wheels.

I did the ball seat with the Gorilla lugs instead... just in case for the locking ability on all lugs.

looked at those too. these ones i found also have locking ones to use with the adapters if you ever want to swap out for any reason.

dude, this is awesome. So I can use my kicks lugs with these? Or do I have to use the motorsport lugs?

I can't tell from the pic, but these won't cause less of the lug to be threaded on will it? Meaning, the lug nut won't be on the lug as much...making me worry about it coming off

It's about the thickness of a washer. That shouldn't make any difference at all. If you ever owned a really ****y vehicle that had some ruined lugs you'll know that you can drive forever on even just a couple lugs tightened down well ;) Much less this is barely removing a millimeter or so. I think if anything I'd worry more about the brand of lug someone is putting on that the spacer going between it to make it to a ball.

Does anyone have leads/links for extended closed ended lugnuts in black/red color?

you can use any brand conical (60 degs) nuts you'd like. if you look closely, you don't lose threads with the adapters. they simply change the shape of the bottom or adapt them to fit the right lugs.

Anyone tried out these adapters on their CTR stock rims yet? How are these holding up?
i've had them on my oem nsx 19" wheels now for 2000 miles with several autox events included and perfectly fine here. nsx wheels are the same ball set as stock wheels.
