zroger73,

I get that the top speed is approximately 170, was just wondering if there was a governor that limits that stock. if we were to take the car to a track could we get it up past 140?

The OEM tires are rated at 186 MPH. Honda's use of the word "approximately" in front of 170 MPH implies that the vehicle is drag limited. Car and Driver also states that it is drag limited as opposed to governor limited. Since the car isn't capable of exceeding the speed rating of its OEM tires, an electronic governor isn't necessary. There is no electronic limit at 140 MPH.

165 on a curvy interstate in Mexico.. lol with all the curves it wouldn't pull anymore with the way the brakes work on curves. And make sure to increase air pressure before attempting anything crazy.
