Hi guys,

I tried a couple of searches to see which downpipe would be best for my 2018 CTR but came up short with these two.
People seem to go for the PRL but i'm not to interested in that one.
I've narrowed it down to two options. Price is almost the same so it's more based on quality and performance of product.

1: AFE catted downpipe - 400CEL cat (48-36606-HC)
2: Invidia catted downpipe - 200CEL cat (INV-HS17CTRDPC)

Both of these seem great so i'd love to hear any insight you guys might have on which one I should go for.
Car is stock, accept for inter cooler upgrade and DP will mated to stock exhaust system. Hondata tune will be coming in the future but not right away.

Thanks guys!

I feel like I should make a down-pipe, what do you guys think? What would you want to see in one?

Thanks guys. Some of the brands you guys listed are just not an option for shipping to Canada and they are priced differently right now. That's pretty much why i've narrowed it down to the two brands. If you had to choose between those two that i've listed which would it be?

No cat no drone. Haven't heard one yet that doesn't drone at low rpms at least.
I am playing with the idea of the catless version still retaining a bullet-style resonator. So still catless but the muffling should help take the rasp edge off so it won't be to aggressive.

I like the idea, but using any currently available resonator in the location of the oem cat (just off the turbo) tends to destroy the sound damping materials in a short time due to the intense heat from the turbo. If one could find or build a core that quieted it down but didn't destroy itself from heat this would be a great thing!

That is something I will have to consider, the heat will be tricky.

Both the options you listed are quality parts. I’d lean towards the AFE.

I feel like I should make a down-pipe, what do you guys think? What would you want to see in one?
Perhaps you should start a thread rather than detailing this one?
