Sounds like bait and switch to me. I haven't found any CA dealers selling below MSRP especially on a 2020 model. 2019s yes but if you want below MSRP, better look outside the state of CA but be prepared for paying the car to be delivered to you (1K or more)

There are plenty right now but more aren’t being made. The dealer is using a BS reason to ask over sticker, but we really don’t know when more will be made. The factory is scheduled to start a slow roll into production in June, but when I last checked they hadn’t set a date yet. Total production numbers for 2020’s are likely to be pretty low.

I gotcha. Somebody backed out of closing the deal on a boost blue so I got lucky on mine. Honda of Jasper emailed me today staying they had a black 2020 they were selling for $36, 150. Heres the guys information.

The Swindon plant will produce 2020s for a bit longer though, right? Looks like new model year Type Rs usually don't start hitting lots until Q1 of its corresponding calendar year.

That would suck for negotiating with stealerships. Im wondering how much Limited edition will be sold for, if less than 45k that may be the one to try to get.

LITTLE over sticker is not bad if you equate transportation to another state and putting miles on your Type R. To me time is more precious than couple of hundred dollars....that can be made up somewhere else.
