I am getting used to the odds sounds many others referenced. Because of my home footprint, I have to back out If garage wheels facing right then stop and turn wheel All the way the other direction. When I do that there is an odd grating/crunching sound. Took to dealer, they found a Pebble in the brake. It only happens sometimes.
Anyone else? Diagnosis? Thanks

Oh gravel! I was going to guess tore off the passenger side outside mirror!

Gravel is a b-t-h! Picked up a piece a couple of weeks and thought the front end was going to fall off. A few miles down the road the low tire pressure warning came on! I thought it ate the sensor. Nope all tires two or three pounds low due to onset of cold weather. Think I'll stay off of gravel roads from now on!

Brand new ball joints can make that noise sometimes, my 2020 Civic did it for awhile until they broke in properly..

My car has less than 3000 miles. I’ve removed a wheel 3 times to free a stuck pebble. It’s disappointingly common.

I found my brake dust shield caught up underneath the upper ball joint and possibly on the top side of the caliper where it hugs real close to it
