Cruise Control; how to reduce step when in kilometer ?

Hello,
Owner of 2018 Canadian Civic LX in kilometer.
Each step with cruise control look to be 2 kilometers. I wish to have 1 kilometer step.

Owner book said step are close to 1.6 kilometer.
As all we know, 1 mile is 1.6 is kilometer.

Is there a menu on screen to change that ?

I read here there is a fine tuning for outside temperature. Why not for cruise control ?
I have not the chance to look at the screen , car is outside in cold wheater...

My dealer say there is no fine tune by the car owner. Maybe only by Honda

I find mine in second intervals. Like 1 is 1 sec, 2 is 2 sec following distance

Yes one short pressure is 1 mile in North America or 1.6 kms in Canada, long pressure more miles or kilometre

I want 1 kilometer with the first step

So is your problem you want a longer following distance or a shorter one? 1km following distance is a little over kill because every ime someone switches lanes or pulls into traffic you will constantly be braking..

He is talking about setting speed, not the adaptive cruise distance.

My Civic seems to operate in 1 km/h steps, I'm not sure how. 5 presses usually changes speed by 5 km/h.

That is I want. Now it is a 2 km/h steps. Honda owner book say it is around 1.6 kms steps . 1.6 kms = 1 mile

How would I read the manual when I'm not even sure what your talking about.

If you want to set the cruise control speed to 100km or 101km or 102km you can in 1km increments.

That is what I'm talking about ; increment
1 km increment ; no only by 2 kms

Look Honda North America set increment in mile for USA market . Canadian dealer convert in kms ( just press one button ( i) on dash ) for Canadian version.
1 mile increment = 1.6 kms. Close to 2 kms increment
