Have a 2016 Civic Touring with black paint and after giving the car a nice polish and sealant, I noticed a ton of white lines and a few actual "crows feet" marks on the hood. I even noticed one on the trunk of the car. My 3 year/36,000 mile warranty expires within a few days, so I ended up taking it to a Honda Collision site. They took pictures of the hood and told me it will be up to Honda of America on what they decide, so now I wait.
Has anyone else had this issue with a 2016+ Civic? I can't believe not even a 3 year old car already is showing signs of clear coat failure. After some research I found out this was a huge problem not to long ago with Honda. Not even my 2011 Acura TSX that has black paint has had this problem.
Attaching two pictures.
