Should be the same idea. I have a coupe myself and I did see the video at one point but I don't have a link.
The location of the connector is different between the Coupe and the Sedan. The Sedan is easy to get to. The Coupe goes back behind the side curtain airbag.

I was thinking about cutting the wires and then just soldering them back together, how bad of an idea is that?

I was thinking about cutting the wires and then just soldering them back together, how bad of an idea is that?
I was thinking something similar... installing a 3 wire connector closer to the fin. Or since it's only used for XM, just clipping the wires.

It was three separate wires, not co ax.
according to this thread https://www.civicx.com/threads/shark-fin.7014/ on vehicles with shark fin antenna, am/fm is also received through the shark fin. it does appear that it's a certain type of coax/RF wire that you can't just solder back together. I think you have to just pull it out the correct way from the clips, sadly.

How can i remove the C pillar?
I’m so lost at trying to remove the shark fin on my coupe.

I’ve removed the handlebars.
I’ve removed the dome
Removed the liner clips by the rear window

now i am stuck, and trying to find out how to remove c pillar and from my understanding, i need to disconnect the battery before doing so.

can someone help so we can assist all the coupe bois?
