Thanks for the heads up! My salesman said this would probably be a recall, sounds like he was right by what your dealer told you.

i was pleasantly surprised about what he said. guess this confirms it. only thing to do now is wait i guess.

I have the exact same issue with my civic coupe EX-T. Been sagging for about 2-3 months and I had the car 4 months ago. Supposedly the dealership that I got the car from, they're making some type of bracket to fix the issue and may be a recall from what he said? I'm not too sure but I gave up on that third brake light. I find it annoying to keep pushing it up so I just let it sag when I'm cruising.
