You can, and it's just as easy as changing a regular headlight bulb.

If you're gonna spend $100 though, I'd rather get HID's instead.

I feel like HID's are more complicated to install no? and take up more space?

They are more complicated, but still very easy. It's just more connections, and they only all fit one way.

As far as taking up space, the ballasts have to go somewhere, but there are other posts on here with pictures. Also those LED bulbs are massive anyway.

These plug in LED bulbs are pretty much garbage in terms of brightness and longevity. Unless you're going full OEM LED replacements, I'd stick with HIDs.

Which HID's are recommended. Upon surfing through all the posts, it seems that XenonDepot seems to be one of the better HID kits.

The benefit of the LED bulbs are that they are plug and play. With HID kits, you have to deal with the ballasts and everything else. Does anyone have experience with an HID kit to tell me how hard/easy it is to install? What steps need to be taken?

Whatever kit you decide to buy should have instructions.

Youtube "How to install HIDs" will give you 50,000 instruction videos as well - far more useful than some hastily written instructions.

Do make sure to get a relay for the HIDs.
