Corrosion on doors

Found minor corrosion on top corner of all four doors and also front corner of driver door, see pictures. It was spotted after 6 months of owning the vehicle. Checked one loaner and one demo at the dealer and both had identical corrosion. So far, three for three.

Nasty, I have some too, tough to see on my BNP tho.. my channel has some in it too. Mainly just on driver side. Hardly anything on pass side.

Rust proofed my car the day I drove it off the lot. They don't spray up there though.. tough call!

Just leave it alone guys, mine was a PITA to put the seal back in right. I would suggest using a thin oil type of rust proofing and filling up that channel if you guys are keeping the car forever, if not, screw it lol.

It's the foam stuff in my top pic ^ it holds on to moisture foreverrr

I'm not afraid to look, I'm just afraid the seals won't go back into place

Fortunately my door is fine, after 7 months, 50% of the time outside. I only lifted a small portion of the top edge, a credit card helped to put the seal back into place without effort.

I remember a similar issue was very common on the lower door sill of Mini Cooper
