I have a 2016 LX manual I can tell you the car is too underpowered to be considered fun.

It's great on gas and was cheap though!

Update. Ended up getting a Hatchback Sport CVT. Tried to find manual but no dice around here.

The CVT paired with the 1.5T is lot better in traffic than I thought it would be.

Nice choice! The CVT works great in traffic. It’s also super smooth and paired Honda sensing you can enjoy an easy commute and ride.

It is a slower car than the Si, that is pure fact. Now mind you, slower does not mean slow but, it is not faster than the Si, either.

What I'd really like is the last gen Si motor in a 10th gen hatch, that'd be pretty sweet. But i love the 1.5T so can't complain.

My idea scenario would be the type R hatch with awd and under 30k. We can all dream.

Under 30k would be possible if those stingy manufacturers finally decided to sell cars used from the factory ?
No reason any new civic should be over 30k, even a CTR.
