Does anyone have a side by side comparison and photo to view. Heard it's something percent more open to allow more air to cool the motor..
also does anyone know if it will fit the 2017-2019 models?

Thanks

Really....Closes off the open section when it feeds fresh air to the motor?! Why Honda! Why? That just makes my headache. What a dumb idea.

Ok, guys. We need more cooling in the motor bay. What do you got? We'll we could make the front opening bigger..great idea..but that would mean we have to close off the opening that feeds the air intake......they don't need an open-intake...run with it.. freaking joke.

/\ Very interesting.. I did not realize they had closed off the upper section on the new grill. I had wondered about this a bit on the J's grill but perhaps its not such a big issue afterall..

It appears that the Honda badge/emblem holder has also been moved up and now they have that small 1 1/2" wide black section blocked off just below it to cover up the car color plastic center support piece that resides behind the badge holder (part of the OEM bumper cover behind).

Pretty much just added a 4th row of diamond grill material, but closed off the top for the intake part

I was about to pull the trigger and buy one. Luckily you bought up the point of the intake part. Honda what gives? Also do 17-19 eyelids fit the 2020 grille?

perfect thanks, still with the block off on the intake. i dont know how ideal it is, i might just cut vents on the oem grill or just get the EVS tuning grille.

you do not need the eye lids. There has been people who has installed the 2020 grille and reuse their eye lids.

The Honda emblem is smaller than the 17-19 and uses the REAR H emblem. I believe the "Type R" emblem is the same size. The H and the Type R emblem both combined is the same price as the grille itself lol.

Wow why would they close the intake vent ??‍♂. Does the 2020 have a different intake so it takes air somewhere else? I was really hoping to get this grill too

its not that big of a deal really. It will just grab air from the opening on the grille.

Ok cool does anyone no forsure if the grille fits the 17 bumper when i called honda they said its different part numbers on bumper but i read somewhere on here that its the same. He also told me that for the 2020 eyelids is different from the 17 but i kinda have feel he doesnt no what hes talking about. If anyone can verify that this grille will work on a 17 bumper and can reuse the original eye lids itll be much appreciated.
