My primary concern would be making sure that the hit on the low end is minimal. Would love to see a Dyno chart comparison between the stock setup and this one on the same tune.
Well DRob is going to tune it so we'll find out.

So Comp completely rebuilds your turbo and installs a different compressor wheel and machines the housing.Would be nice to also enlarge the inlet and make a custom (larger) intake pipe.No point in keeping the small stock plastic inlet .

I wouldn’t go as far as rebuilding lol just a simple wheel upgrade by boring a larger whole. As for the inlet pipe there’s no point in changing it but if you wanted to just get the prl kit or a type R lol

From Daniel of comp turbo:

"The turbo is sent in and we machine the unit to accept our larger more efficient compressor wheel.

The turbocharger also is remanufactured in which will come with a one year unlimited mile warranty."

So it's more than just a wheel upgrade...Also the stock plastic intake pipe has Tiny inlets and outlets .Enlarging them would Get the most out of the turbo. If they have to machine it might as Well get it done right.A tapered inlet on the turbo would be ideal.
I also don't Know any Company that makes a aftermarket inlet pipe that replaces the stock plastic intake pipe that goes onto the turbo.Prl only makes one for the gt28 turbo.

Yes it is:thumbsup:
Nice! What clutch and flywheel setup are you running? I've heard mixed things about the Clutch Masters setups, but they seem to be the only aftermarket option...

Exit: Clutch Masters, not Competition Clutch
