or because they put new oil in you, the noise is felt especially when you make a short trip by not bringing the oil to temperature. There is something unlubricated that makes noise, you are too quiet about this noise. if it is the chain tensioner or the head there is wear

Maybe because AC was not on. I will try again tomorrow.
I turned the AC on and it made a very slight version of the sound and only for a couple seconds, then it faded away. But before the accident and repairs, it was really loud like in the video and lasted for a longer time.

My car was recently repaired after hitting a deer. They replaced various parts including the AC condenser and turbo. And guess what? No more crackling noise during startup!
Just replying to my previous post to set the context. I can honestly report that I no longer have the noise after the above said deer incident and repairs. I've cold started 5 times and no noises. We'll see how it goes and hopefully doesn't come back.

So if you want to fix the noise just crash the car and get it fixed... LOL. Just kidding

For a few months I have been getting this noise when I cold start the car in the morning. It has gotten worse over time, and two local dealers have said they cant duplicate the issue.

At first, it only happened some of the time, only lasting about 5 seconds and was quieter, but now it happens 95-99% of the time and it is much louder and lasts about 30 seconds to a minute.

Any ideas on what this noise could be? It has since gotten louder and lasts longer. I thought it could be a heatshield rattle but theres nothing loose anywhere. My other thought is an issue with the valves/timing system. The car has all the most recent TSBs/recalls done and has less than 10k miles, and is a 2017.

My 2019 HB has same!! it's troubling but hopefully nothing big.

Thanks! I'll look at those today. How long is my average path?
Like how far is my average drive? About 80 miles a day for work.

THANK YOU!!!

so those two bolts you have circled. I went to tighten them, they weren't loose but not super tight. So I tightened them a bit more turned on the car and no rattle!

I'll have to see if the rattle comes back and try it again but wow thanks!!

At 99% it is that bracket, the dice are probably not very tight, who has this noise, try to touch that bracket with your finger while it makes noise
