Got code A14 im at 98,000 miles,Honda dealership did oil change, spark plug $400. Gave me a quote for 1400 for Drive Belt, Waterpump, coolant change, break fluid flush. Is it a fair price? And mechanic said serpentine belt. Is the Drive belt, serpentine belt, timing belt all the same ? I have no idea about cars.

Just googling A14 code shows (The A - Oil Change, 1 - Tire rotation and 4 - change spark plugs)

Water pump seems like bs to me. I doubt you are having overheating issues.

Not sure about belts. Tried to see in manual if it has when to replace due to mileage but couldn't find. I'll keep looking and edit post if find.

Seems like they are taking advantage of you possibly spotting that your knowledge isn't great on cars.

Brake fluid is probably legit considering Honda wants it every 3 years. However it should have maintenance code 7 when it needs replaced. I just turned mine off and will replace within 4 years since I'm only at 16k miles.

Civic X cars don't have a timing belt. They have a timing chain, which last a long time. Unless you are having issues there is no need for this service.

Only thing I could find was dealership pamphlet for all models that says to inspect water pump. I highly doubt they even did that since takes some time to get in there. If you aren't having any cooling issues then you are fine no need to replace the pump and since there is chain and not belt you are fine on that also.

Oil change makes sense of course.
Plugs at 100k make sense.
Waterpump? ehhhhh only if its squealing! Never a bad idea to change coolant.
Brake fluid makse sense at that mileage if it's never been done.
Not sure what they mean by a drive belt? Timing chain is what these motors have and unless you have serious issues running, doubtful it is needed. I would ask what they mean.
These motors have 1 serpentine belt to run ancillary things like AC, water pump, alternator and thats about it. They are rather easy to change at a shop and are usually in the $70-$100 price range.
Labor is the killer on that job.
Take it as you will. If they quoted you $1,400 for all of that I would say it's slightly high but in the "stealership" range.

Yes everything on that maintenance schedule looks good other than the fact there is no timing belt to inspect. Sounds like the dealer is trying to make some money off you

It keeps the correct tension on the serpentine belt. No need to change that unless your belt is loose or making noise.
