You're right, it can't be resurfaced but if the engine has low miles and the stock clutch hasn't slipped or very little you can just clean up the flywheel and try it like that. If you are careful enough sanding the old clutch material out it should still work.

I had my fx350 put in my si a few years back and I reused factory flywheel. I think I had about 15k on the car when I had the clutch put in. Im now at 70k with same fx350 and been on a stage 2 tune for 2yrs. No slip on the clutch thus far but when it goes out I'll be looking elsewhere for a smoother engagement! The 1st gear and reverse gear chatter can get annoying especially in traffic.

The FX350 doesn't come with a flywheel, does it match up to the stock DMF or did you purchase a new flywheel as well? From what I understand, the stock DMF can't be re-surfaced.
Correct, it does not come with a flywheel but you can get one for it, sure. I'm using my stock DMF. I have 4k miles on my SI so it's a relatively new DMF as it is.
