Hi all,

After the tune this weekend, the car does 250 Hp and 343Nm. I am in stock clutch and I feel is not gonna resist for long. I use the car as daily driver and I'm not racing. A few pulls once in a while.
I am looking for a couch kit that feels not too different from stock.
Any recommendations?

By mistake I created this post in the wrong section. It needs to be moved under transmission.
Thanks in advance moderators.

I would recommend ACT or even just an EXEDY clutch and keep your factory flywheel for OE feel. As long as your flywheel isn't worn out yet, that's a cheap and good option. @86salmon is using an EXEDY clutch.

Thank you. There are not many options anyway. I see people not happy with clutch masters, so only 2 options.

I like the clutch master fx400 clutch. Its all ive used ever, so... maybe im not the right person to listen to :) wear is actually decent, I project at least 30k miles, based on a transmission inspection I did, which isnt too bad for a clutch of its caliber. I am getting throwout bearing clatter, but that may be not related to the fx-400. Not a big deal for me.

I know the retrofit is super pricey compared to the other options but my best advice is do it once and do it right.

the type r retrofit feels closest to stock and holds power down great, me and 3 other local buddies all run the retrofit clutch and it's been flawless for us with no issues at all.

if you do want to save a little though ACT should be the next choice, have seen generally positive reviews about them

ACT has been great for me so far, no issues with lockout and I do not have the modified cmc either.

I have had this clutch kit for about 20 000 km now with a stage 1 intake and ktuner 21 psi tune. I love the street feel of it, barely stiffer than stock and it holds great so far. I got very little lockout with completely stock cmc but that happens maybe once every other month. I do a lot of city driving and it never gets on my nerves compared to stock. Very much worth it in my opinion.
