Howdy Forum, very excited to be here!
Just purchased my 2020 Civic SI Sedan 3 days ago and am very pleased with the car thus far, coming from a 1999 Civic Hatchback. This SI has twice the power and torque of my D16Y7 but the same gas mileage. That's 20 years of technology for you. But onto the question...
My other car (Crosstrek) has a "Clear Flood" mode, where I push the gas pedal to the floor before starting the car and it'll crank the engine without fuel, great for priming the oil system after an oil change. Does anyone know if our car has that same feature? I'm not due for an oil change anytime soon but when time comes, I want to change my oil myself.
Thoughts or do we just have to pull the fuel ignition fuse, old school style?
Thanks and this is a great forum with a lot of enthusiastic members!
Cheers,
Scott
