None! No harm!

However, look at the torque graph below. If Vtec is moved to the left, you'll reach peak horsepower sooner. That means when you do finally wind it out to 6700rpm in 3rd gear, if Vtec engagement is still lower, you'll have less horsepower in 3rd gear and a steeper torque fall off. Unless Vtect engagement in 3rd is somehow moved back up the powerband.

This is just talk though. When people download the newest update when it is available and report back the results, if they are happy, that's all the matters.

Yeah I see what you’re saying, I’m hoping the update will be pleasing, wishing they could come out with even more options for us!

They're two separate things.

VTEC was moved to create an even smoother curve. It helps get rid of that small dip before VTEC currently. Applies to MT and CVT. It will also keep those with MTs in VTEC when shifting.

Separately settings were altered for those who weren't getting VTEC in first and second gear.

Will there be an updated dyno sheet?

Anyone try the update yet?
I installed the update, but the base tune still shows VTEC engagement at 5600.
I'm going to wait a few days and see what happens before I upload a new tune.

Yes same here. I uploaded it and it seems unchanged, not too sure

It has been posted. If you mean the description for the tune, that's just an oversight. Send a KTuner datalog (Not CSV) to [email protected] and we'll check it out.

I am just tuning in, no pun intended, so there is an updated tune for our 2.0?
