The last two generations of the Civic hatchback did have the Magic Seats. But this is because it was on a Fit-based platform that had the space-saving rear torsion beam suspension, along with a central fuel tank. Because this is a new worldwide Civic platform - complete with multilink rear suspension and standard fuel tank placement - it will not have the rear Magic Seats.
