I know people love to shit on bmw reliability but man I test drove a 2020 bmw m340i and Boi its like 5 times faster than my civic, it's such a drivers carz...if it wasn't for money I'd trade immediately, ain't no civic beating that car unless HIGHLY MODIFIED
My dad has an m340i and my si stands no chance, even with a PRL big turbo kit Iā€™d bet the bmw would still win. It would most likely give my friendā€™s type R some trouble too. 382 hp, all wheel drive, ps4s tires, itā€™s hard to compete with that in any civic.

Imagine a civic with an AWD trim

Dude even the type R ain't touching the M340i, I mean 0-60 in in 3.9 seconds stock, bmw rated it at 4.2 seconds but I personally got 3.9 seconds when I floor it with my draggy, and 11.8 seconds 1/4, I was actually shocked when I drove that thing, it's fast asf

Well like the new type R but AWD
i think @HondaPro Jason made his type R electric assisted awd. also the way everything seems to be laid out on the fk8 makes it seem like it was designed with awd system compatibility in mind

Your link is incorrect.

If itā€™s a 2013 coupe it would be an e92 w/ the six. If itā€™s a 2013 sedan thatā€™s an F30 w/ the turbo 4.

PRL turbo 1.5 civic should take care of that from a roll unless you're only on pump gas. I took out an m440i we went twice from a 40 roll. It wasn't until end of 3rd where I started to pull. I was flat foot shifting and everything so that played a part when it comes to not losing boost between shifts. Now if we're talking about the same drive train but in a lighter shell (Zupra) then that's a different story, 380 whp on a 3,300 lb chassis is tough to beat.

im not sure on the year of it. i know it's an e90, it's a sedan, and it has the 6 cylinder. it's a 328xi so it has awd, it's automatic and it has a push button. my buddy knows everything about the body codes and stuff but all that is far beyond me. i sold an '89 e30 3 series coupe a few months ago and just trying to find out stuff about that was a pain. that's just about all i know about that

My buddy had an E46 330ci ZHP. No M3, but HELLA fun to drive! Those were the glory days for BMW churning out affordable driver's cars... *sigh*
Affordable? They (330 ZHP) started at 35K back then which is around 50K dollars today.

For 50K today, you can get much, much better cars then a 330ZHP.

Relaltively affordable lol. It was a 4k option on a 30k base price for a regular 330i.

Back in '03, the Is300, TL-S and G35 were all in the 30k range for comparison. The German counterparts always comanded a bit of a premium, but BMW gave you a better mix of luxury + performance.

Can't just consider the inflation up to 2021, you have to consider the competition at the time.
