We are talking about the metal molybdenum, right? Not the molybdenum disulfide grease. They are different stuff.
They both would constitute "special additive" or "special break-in additive", in the Factory Fill, wouldn't it? This is precisely why I only utilized the Honda oil for first oil change so you get something that the FF has, even if it is only 50% of the FF. And good news doesn't stop cause in May, all dealers converted over to the HGMO FULL SYNTHETIC 0w-20 so you will get some moly in the correct amounts and not something that could counter the mission.

his original statement was a question, i didn't know the answer and said possibly. You don't have to get hung up on my words.

Anyway. Moving on.
People are losing their minds today, I swear! It's a crazy place in here.

How about chrome moly steel. It's in some engine parts. The molybdenum in the oil could be coming from the steel.
Same question about the silicon particles in the oil. Is it the semiconductor silicon or silicon oxide (sand) from the intake air?

Good amount of moly tells me that it was a specific "break in" oil..?

Added some info^ and it's hard to say if the moly assembly lube would show up like this? @planedoc what do you think?

Absolutely! There is prolly ten times more moly in the assembly lube than in any oil additive.

What was your Honda maintenance minder %?
That's a great question. I believe it was at 40-45% from what I remember.

@NorthernEX-T
Our lab results are almost identical except for FUEL DILUTION where my report came in below 0.5% vs yours at 2.1%

Date of Oil Collection: January 25, 2019
Oil Use Interval (mi/km): Analysis was performed at 12,614 miles (second oil change in the car's life)
Oil Grade: 0W/20 (OEM)
Region you Reside: Pennsylvania (Mid-Atlantic)
Track Vehicle (yes/no): No
Other Notes: I had Ktuner stage 1 installed at 1,000 miles or so. Therefore, this data includes about 7,200 miles of Ktuner Stage 1 driving. Then at 8,200 miles I had my full bolt-ons and a custom tune installed - so another 3,800 miles of even more aggressive tune on the car. I drive in a "spirited" manner regularly. I also commute with this car daily (30-40 miles roundtrip, stop and go city traffic and some light highway miles). More info of my build is here: https://www.civicx.com/threads/type...ew-prl-remus-ptp-usr.30111/page-6#post-549012

Is that your first oil change? If so, I might recommend stepping up the frequency now that you're modded.

subscribing to this. Didn't realize we could get this done for so cheap lol. I'll do this on my next oil change.
