Anyone have 15-20mm spacers w/ET35-45 wheels to regain zero scrub radius @ET60? Eibach Pro’s here, 255/35-19 x 9.5, ET41, considering 19mm Bora’s.

I respect the naysayers but this is asking those with to share their experience, thanks.

Spacers would further decrease your offset, not increase. They're pushing your wheels out further.

Yes, late night sleepy head research. I got it backwards as spacers increase backspacing but decrease positive offset (add negative) so with 20mm added, my ET41 wheels would be ET21, further increasing positive scrub radius, right?

I think part of my error was just adding 20mm to the wheel specs on wheel size calculator, then focusing on how that extra poke would look.:banghead:

Hey guys
Tomorrow comming my new wheels Advan RSII 18x9.5 +50. I want to order Michelin ps4s 265/40. Anyone know if this setup will clear the strut/damper? Is there enough room for this setup?

Hi all, I have a set of BBS CI-R in Bronze arriving from Germany, looking forward to how they look on a Rallye Red.

They're 19 inch, 8.5, and ET35

I'm looking at a set of the Michelin PS4, I'll be going for 35 profile. But I'm not sure wether to go for 245, or 255 width?

Cheers.

The popular one I usually see is 245/40/19 tire if you're on stock height.

That looks great! I just ordered 18x9.5 +45 Motegi’s with 265/40r18’s in the same tires - PS4S. How are they? Any rubbing?
I love it. Stock wheels were just too stiff for me. This setup feels amazing. No rubbing at all. I could go with 275/40 and still would fit perfectly. I'm planning to lower my car with H&R springs so the fitment is just perfect.

Besides popularity there’s safety and fitment concerns with 255 on 8.5” rims. 9.5” would allow for wider tires.

Generally you can go up to an inch narrower or wider tire than wheel.

255 tires are 10.04 inches wide, that’s just over 1-1/2” wider than wheel, too much. Although you may never have a problem since Michelen are fairly stiff, the potential is there to get squirrely is roll onto sidewalls pushed hard.

Recommend you go with 245 width that is 9.646” wide, even slightly more than tire charts recommend but much better choice than 255/in 35 (better choice IMO) than 40 series.

Running 255/35-19 x 9.5 TSW ET41 and Goodyear Exhilirate A/S, thrilled with year round and especially wet performance, Eibach Pro springs.

You’ve made good choices but think about effects of too wide?

Thank you :) Will go for the 245 I recon, with the 8.5's

That does look fantastic though!
