That’s cause they went with 265/45 as opposed to 265/35 unless that’s a typo.Oh yea sorry 255 with +42 wont rub, but 265 with +42 will actually rub if tread width is wide enough.
I have 2 buddies that have regamasters 18x9.5 +45, both tires are 265/45 but different brands. Falkens rub but Michelins doesn't.

I went with the HS Gunmetallic in 18x9.5 ET38's with 255/40/18 Continental ExtremeContact Sports. I'm on stock suspension with no rubbing lock to lock with some passengers (1-2).Anyone running 18x9.5 ET38 (57DR/CR) on stock suspension wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+? Wondering what setup you chose (255/40 v 265/35) and any rubbing?
Are these gun metallic?I got them on! It's a little muggy and the car is dirty but here it is! 18x9.5 +38 te37sl Nitto Motivo 255/40/18 and they fit great. No rub thus far on stock suspension. Also, thanks to Civicx forum I got the spare kit and installed it. Woo things are coming along

Centercaps are non-standard for the TE37SL model. This model chose to ditch the centercap design to achieve further weight savings. With that being said, Rays Japan does produce adapters that can fit majority of Volk caps on it. They are priced at about $60 each for the adapters. Is it still correct that these don't come with center caps?
Looks great!! Have you experienced any rubbing on stock suspension with this setup? I'm looking to put some Rays 57CR 18x9.5 +38 on my car soon but I'm not decided on tires yet. Was the swap pretty uneventful for you? Finally got a few pictures of the new wheels.

Like you (and many others it seems) I'm also trying to decide on tires for 18x9.5 +38 wheels. Part of me wants to go for 265/35 to take advantage of the extra contact patch. But then I look at 255/40 and they are closer to stock circumference and fill the wheel wells out a little better. Also, with the PS4S tires I plan to get, it's about $100 cheaper for the set of 255. From what I've read, fitment seems to be similar between the two, with both possibly rubbing with stock suspension if the car is loaded up and hits a large dip. I'm usually by myself or with a single passenger, so I'm not too concerned about rubbing, but prepared to deal with it in the event it occurs.Looks great!!
