Civic Type R After-market Wheel Guide

In the market to get some wheels, and want to lower my R on springs.
I Daily Drive my R everyday 120miles to and from work.
Doing research for two months now and still at nothing I'm happy with. I will never track my R just some go fast parts already on it. With a few more I want to get.
Any help would be appreciated. Thinking of going to 18s.

Really enjoying this setup. Might look into lowering options for the future, but will keep it like this for now. Was skeptical on switching off from the OEMs at first, but it’s been a game changer performance wise for the short time they’ve been on the car.

I have the same ones, only 18", and have been waiting on center caps for months. Just hoping I get them before I plan on putting on the wheels in the spring. I don't know of any options other than the ones designed for the wheels, so I'd be interested if you find anything else. I'd love to be able to make the stock center caps fit!

I think the stock center caps would need a lot of modification to fit, unfortunately.

Hello. I am looking for budget track rims (I agree cheap and quality are conflicting).
I came across the motegi MR145 traklite 3.0 rims in 18x9.5 ET45 but I do not see any reviews. The weight seems to be great at 21 lbs and for less than $200 USD, it seems to be a bargain.
Does anyone have any experience on the track with these Motegi rims? I am looking to do ~5 track days a year and I am not an experienced driver.
