today was great weather and had finally installed my @Mishimoto intake so wanted to have an excuse to drive...plus had to do dinner. put on about 50 miles for the first time with the new nsx wheels and 245/35/19 potenza re-71r tires.

wow...just wow! dammit i love the wheels and tires! still new so a little squirmy but on the way home i took a cloverleaf at about 75 mph. sticky...love it. i do not need 265 or 275 width tires on the streets to smile big smiles.

now with stickier tires the car will pitch a little bit more - meaning your feet stick more while you go around the corner yet your body continues to have momentum toward the outside of the turn ala pitches. it's basic physics. this why for you guys throwing on wider and/or stickier tires and getting more lateral grip in the corners - you WILL notice the car roll a bit more. therefore, tighter suspensions ala stiffer sway bar(s) is required to counter the stickier or more lateral grip tires. if you don't believe me, ask the pro autoxers and trackers. everything works in unison...make a change in one thing and will impact another until you counter it. simple physics...

btw there is ZERO change to the stock zero torque steer front end design...that was my goal all along and why the wheels at 19x8.5 +55mm et work!

Can you post a pick of your setup? I’m contemplating running the NSX wheels with PS4S tires and am trying to get an idea of how the tires will look on those wheels.

They haven’t been mounted to my car yet. They just got mounted and balanced on the tires. They should be here by Tuesday but here’s a teaser pic from GRP.

here's mine also with a few of my personal touches. @GrahamRahalPerformance is best place to get this setup.

@SBD47 and @mecheng32 you need to get hub centric rings size 64.1 id --> 70.1 od to use the wheels for zero vibrations.

Thanks. I familiar with GRP, I’ve been in contact with them for some time now. We’re going to have to meet up once you get their exhaust installed. I’ve been very close to buying it, but want to hear it in person first.

OMG those look great. Love the Custom tire and CTR decals on the side of your car. Looks stunning. Thses photos have pretty well convinced me to go the same way except I might go PS4's for tires.

Thank you very much for the info on your set up :)

This is the exact same tire size and rim I want to run. Congrats!
The 255s increase the sidewall just a bit more than the 245s which should help with pot holes & stuff. Your speedo off only a hair ...
Please let us know how you like them and how it drives, any rubbing, etc
I think it’s the perfect combo all things considered...

thanks! yes i love this setup and happy i chose it after input from couple key ppl on here and working with @GrahamRahalPerformance

it's almost the ideal setup for the ctr and should have came stock this way (less the tire lettering).

Most of other setup are either rubbing 265s or lowered and high offsets . They only look good at the cost of ruin the factory balance of a stock car .
