iam running out of ideas. :(

what i have just read:
on android settings you can choose the prefered equalizer (pull down notification bar -> settings -> sound -> sound modification/eq (?, i dont remember the exact name).
this replaces the honda EQ, which is reachable via "menu" when a track is being played.
i dont know if that helps, but maybe the system will use viper as a default EQ then.

Ok. Restored the unit reinstalled anything. Now viper work but unfortunately just with USB and bt. No iPod..... I usually don't like bt audio so much because codec quality is so/so...
Someone have viper + connect working using an iPod?

ah, i never thought of reseting the headunit... at least its working now.
i guess the ipod has a build-in equalizer in its settings? maybe its not working then.
how do you connect an ipod? via the front usb-port?

did you try using the "lock effect mode" setting? so everything gets processed via the headset tab ie.

I'm using V4A on my Sedan with the simple audio (no integrated amp). I'll post a pic of my EQ setup when I get one, but the results are absolutely amazing. I added a small digital pioneer 4x45w amp, replaced the front speakers with Morel Tempo 6 and added the small Kenwood underseat sub. This does not only play loud but very clear as well. But I have to say that the V4A made a huge difference by itself making Hondahack the best bang for the buck in terms of sound upgrade :) . Even after all the additions, if I turn off the V4A main power, the output is just harsh and lacking.
