Civic Si with Type R Center caps

i followed this video. i succeeded in removing the "H" on my OEM center cap, lol.

Do you still have the packaging of the tape you used? I still haven't got around to doing this and am unsure what to buy/what will work best. Tried looking for what dude used in the video but can't find it.

I had some bad curb rash, and after doing some research, powder coating seemed like the best option.

Are you people crazy?!? Don’t pry your center caps off with a screw driver... jack the damn car up, take the wheel off and pop it out from the back. If you do any modding or maintenance on your car yourself, you need to know how to do this.

And get a cheap torque wrench from harbor freight too.

Anyone install the Type R center caps on your stock Si wheels? Curious how they look.

Also would be curious to see if anyone put the stock Type R wheels on their Si coupe or sedan

Type R wheels have 120 mm lug spacing vs. the Si's 114.3 You would need adapters.

Hey thought I would mention - from factory Honda aligns the bottom of the ‘H’ in the center cap with the valve stem. Nice touch imo...
