Civic si coupe tail lights

Hey guys! I can’t seem to find anyone online who has done a clear tail light conversion or even tried. Is there anyone out there who has experience with removing and taking apart the coupe rear tail lights?

If you are referring to aftermarket taillights for the coupe, they don’t exist.

If you are looking for someone who has taken them apart to make them clear, I’m sure one or two have tried.

I found this image on Facebook and fell in love right away. Someone just made an edit of it so it’s not real unfortunately. But if anyone has any experience with opening tail lights up let’s chat!

My cars sitting in the yard for a few more months awaiting a new block.

So let’s say I split mine open. What the hell do I do to achieve this look?
Do I spray in some type of chromatic paint?
I’ve got the time. Just no idea how.

From the videos I’ve watched on YouTube as a DIY standpoint. Everyone has just bought aftermarket clear lenses however there are none made for the coupes. I’ve heard chrome paint isn’t as chrome as some might like but it might be the only option for the coupes. The difficult thing about the coupe is the light bar that goes across the rear attaching the two rear lights. If you end up doing it let me know!

Well then..... Sounds like a challenge! One I may or may not accept?? Time will tell.
