Did you receive the rubber pad that lines the bottom of the arm rest compartment?

e.g.
http://www.civicx.com/threads/first-2016-civic-easter-egg-found-in-arm-rest.266/

Please indicate:

  1. Yes/No
  2. Country (US, Canada)
  3. Civic Trim
Thank you!

I bought a 2016 Civic Sedan LX Manual (Canada) and I don't have any rubber pad.
It seems quite unfinished at the bottom, because you can see some bolt heads.

I asked my salesman and he wasn't sure,
suggested maybe they only came on Touring.

Here's a video with Honda Jason, in a US Touring
mine looks like what you see after he removes the pad... the bolt heads

This is Honda Laura in a US EX-L and it looks like it has the pad too

Go with the dealer and look in several more LX's on the lot. That'll give you the best answer. Or have the Parts counter folks look up to see if the part is spec'd into your VIN.

I've looked at the rubber pad here in the US in two Tourings (one mine), one EX-T, and one EX. All of them had it. Have not sat in an LX though.

FWIW, this part appears to show in a US market EX, but not an LX:
This is just my quick read of one parts catalog; I think this is the right part. I'd for sure check for ground truth in another or several more Canadian market LXs. Looks like a pretty affordable part.
Thanks, looks right, and $3 is pretty cheap... :)

For $3, I'd just buy it, but 2 of the 3 sites I tried won't ship to Canada, and the 3rd one wants (get this) $70 to ship it here! FFS, stick it in an envelope.
College Hills doesn't list it yet, nor does torontohondaparts.com ... but eventually it should be available at a sane price.

I think that I'll go bug my dealer, they owe me a rear bumper appliqué which was supposed to be installed, and I get a rattle/vibration on my passenger side when I get over 3000 rpm.

Buy it from your dealer. I bet it's the same part that goes in a Canadian EX. I'm kinda surprised they don't offer it as an accessory. $50 retail. Part of every dealer's $795 LX Protection Package.

One question is are they all different part numbers?

Only one in the parts catalog I can find. Making the different patterns different part numbers would take it from harmless easter egg to pain in the ass.

Checked an LX on dealer lot in US and it didn't have one either.

My Touring pad has the bike/F1 car/jet design shown in the first link picture. Without Civicx I'd never have thought to look!

I've been told there are 4 different designs. Have we discovered all the different variations?
