Anyone else find the center console between the front seats to be covered in horrible fabric? Not only is the fabric rough and uncomfortable to touch while driving, its very cheap feeling and I can only imagine it ripping with use. Anyone have any experiences with it?

The storage setup in the center console is pretty handy, but it could really use a higher armrest covered in more durable material. Maybe the aftermarket will help.

I know ebay has some plastic covers for the fabric on the doors. They're really cheep. I don't plan on being rough wit my car so I'm not super worried about it. I keep a lint roller in my car and run it over the fabric to remove any dirt or dust on it. That works really well.

I planned to buy the parts from the higher trim models (with leather) and install that...

I believe to do it all would require the following, + some of the clips etc

Left Front Door Lining *NH900L* Armrest Assembly (Leather)
Part Name: ARMREST ASSY., L. FR. DOOR LINING *NH900L* (LEA)
Part Number: 83553-TBA-A51ZA

Right Front Door Lining *NH900L* Armrest Assembly (Leather)
Part Name: ARMREST ASSY., R. FR. DOOR LINING *NH900L* (LEA)
Part Number: 83503-TBA-A51ZA

Left Console *NH900L* Armrest Assembly
Part Name: ARMREST ASSY., L. CONSOLE *NH900L*
Part Number: 83416-TBA-A11ZA

Right Console *NH900L* Armrest Assembly

Part Name: ARMREST ASSY., R. CONSOLE *NH900L*
Part Number: 83411-TBA-A11ZA

Armrest Assembly *NH900L*

Part Name: ARMREST ASSY. *NH900L*
Part Number: 83441-TBA-A01ZA

Compare the last piece, the centre console armrest bit with the one that comes in the LX:

83440-TBA-A01ZA Armrest Assembly *NH900L* (Fabric) (Deep Black)

PS.
If you are more DIY, here's a good article on wrapping with Alcantara

At Hondapartsnetwork.com (no affiliation), it looks like it would come to just over $500 USD
They didn't show taxes and I don't know how that works for you folks in the States.

$170 left door
$156 right door (lol why is it cheaper than the left!)
$39 left console
$39 right console
$98 armrest assembly (centre part of console)
Standard shipping $20 to some random Buffalo area code I tried (14200)
they say "Shipping charges are an estimate and may need to be adjusted after the checkout process is completed"
--------
$523

Here's the links,
double-check everything before you order from anyone and watch out for any of the small clips that might be required.

Take a look at the links, and check out the exploded diagram.
On each URL, it highlights the item which corresponds to that part number.

I think to do the FULL centre console that you are looking at 28 + 23 + 22
(which comes to $176 before shipping, any tax)

you might need some of those little clips too, didn't price them out, assume they are cheap.

One of the reasons why I went for the leather. I couldn't stand the sight of the cheap fabric on the door and center armrest.
