Not heard any liquid or burbling noises in mine, just the hissing. It only makes the hissing noise when the AC is turned on. Turn the AC off and keep the blowers going, the noise goes away.

Does yours make the liquidy noise when the AC is off, blowers only?
I only hear the burbling sort of noise with the AC on.

It’s the refrigerant expanding past the expansion valve and absorbing heat in the evaporator.

no issues with my A/C so far ….

Sorry I wasn’t clear. It’s the bubbling/hissing boise that is reported by members with A/C on. I’m 99% sure it’s the same noise reported by different people.

The new condenser assembly part is probably 80100-TBC-A02. I've seen some suspicion that Honda changed the part number without actually fixing the issue.
Got my new condenser unit fitted today and ahhhh chilled air bliss!

Part number for the condenser Honda put in mine is given on the invoice as H80100TGN01

That doesn't look like a Honda part number, and a Google search yields no results. I don't think that's the official part number, maybe something your dealer is using internally. I wouldn't be surprised if that's an alias, because Honda doesn't want people to know they're getting the same bad parts over and over.

I think its just the format as it appear on the invoice. This looks to be the one (80100-TGN-G01)

The new condenser part per the Civic Type-R warranty extension, Service Bulletin 21-014, should be part 80100-TGN-G02. It looks like they gave you the old part, 80100-TGN-G01. I'd ask them why they didn't give you the latest revision per Service Bulletin 21-014. Maybe they made a mistake.

alright so I think I'm mis-reading the invoice. Here it is:

Honda Civic 10th gen Civic AC heading for lawsuit? WhatsApp Image 2023-06-27 at 19.20.02

I think the part number is the one on the left? Thinking it might pay me to give them a call and ask them to clarify...

I'm pretty sure "WAR" at the top pertains to it being a warranty claim. Not that Honda have declared war on me!

I called Honda today and they confirmed the part number ending G02 is 100% the part they used.

Looking at the bulletin posted above, this appears to be the correct new replacement condenser. Phew!

Part number on the left, to the right of it is the description. The H in front of the part number just identifies it as a Honda part number. The G01 part number in the description of the G02 part identifies it as a revision of G01 for the condenser warranty extension.
