I'm a little late to the game but I was curious what changes the 2019 touring had over my 2016 touring. I couldn't find a definitive list on the forum so I chased down the info from several sources.

  • 18" wheels vs 17
  • Metal pedals
  • Auto High Beams
  • Black front grill/slight changes to front bumper/headlight redesign
  • Volume knob and physical buttons on infotainment system
  • Paddle shifters
  • More cabin sound dampening
  • Buttons for AC fan speed
  • 2019 gets 30/38 MPG vs 31/42 MPG on 16-18
  • HomeLink on rear view mirror (garage door opener)

Loosing 3 mpg because of the 18 wheels... it’s crazy

That may be just real world adjustments. When the 2015 WRX was released I bought one. At the autoshow and when mine was delivered the window sticker said 32 highway, never once did I ever get close. 2016+ the windows sticker was changed to 27 highway
