Hi all!

First time posting on here and I couldn't really find an answer to my question before this.

Would I be able to check my CVT transmission fluid level with the check bolt anytime? Or does it have to be only when I'm doing a fluid change?

Also, when the fluid is coming out of the check bolt, should it be dripping a drop at a time consistently or have a small stream drain out?

2017 Hatch LX.

Thanks!

If it's flowing you added too much.
Thanks for that! From the looks of that screen shot, is it safe to say I can follow those steps anytime? Or only when I'm draining and adding new fluid?

I don't see why you can't. I would add a bit more fluid between checks just to be safe. And just allow the excess fluid to drain until it's a gradual drip.
