Sold: Cheap Mugen steering wheel

Had this installed for about 2 months and maybe 500 miles? No idea what happened to it but the clear on the CF bubbled or something a bit.

Pretty much perfect shape almost new otherwise. $500 shipped obo

Looks like delamination or bubbling, like you say. Would Mugen not warranty it?

Is that a seam on the CF where it is peeeling? For $700, I expect them to have better quality. I’ve seen pics of ones with wrinkle leather as well. I would contact the vendor and ask for replacement.

Yeah I work with cf stuff quite often and that is a defective one during the process of laying and sealing. Haven't seen many matte cf turned out like that though. Have you contacted the seller and ask for a replacement?

I have a cf sterring wheel from buddy club no problems , its expected that something from mugen have perfect quality for the price.

For folks who has the Mugen steering wheel or knowledge, is your part number 78501-XNCF-K0S0-R? What is the difference between that and 78501-XNCF-K1S0-R where it says for FK7?

They look identical and I wonder if the latter can be installed on both the FK7 and 8? If not which one is the right one for FK8? Is there any difference on the choice of the 2 parts between USDM FK8 vs JDM FK8?
