I know this sounds very far fetched but it is just food for thought, is it possible to change a CVT transmission to a manual or vice versa, or is it better off trading in your car?
Yea yea I know it sounds like a bad idea BUT I think its possible no?

Very, Very expensive....probably cheaper and more reliable to trade it in.

Of course it's possible. The 6MTs and the CVTs share the same chassis. However, your money loss from trading in a car that's (presumably) not paid off would probably be far less than the cost of a new transmission + replacing it + all of the other changes that would be required as a result. Today's cars are controlled by computers, so you can't just swap out a major component like that, put in a clutch pedal, and expect it to work.
