Changing Fan Engagement Temps - Good or bad idea?

Are there any disadvantages to lowering the Fan Control Engage/Disengage temp settings with KTuner? It seems like sooner the fan comes on the lower the post-intercooler IAT2 could potentially be. Thoughts?

IMHO I wouldn't screw with that setting. Engineers took a lot of time to calculate what the perfect engine temp has to be to get the best performance and best fuel economy. I really can't see any advantage in changing it but maybe that's just me lol
