Changing cabin air filter after wildfire?

So, I've driven through a few wildfires this year. I'm beginning to notice a bit of lingering smokey smell inside the car when the AC is on. But only when the AC/heater is on.

Think changing the CAF might help with the smokey smell?

vacuum your entire car too. Don't forget the roof liner. I had to clean my entire car recently as the ash was finding way inside of the cabin when I open door to get in.

probably won't make much of a difference, the smell will be embedded in all your seats and carpet,

smoke is one of the most difficult smells to get rid of
