Certain songs from stick won't play

I have a 2016 Civic EX. I also have a very old Ipod that was freezing my audio system, so I put a bunch of my music on a stick. Now I find that the car will play things I downloaded from a CD, but when it finds a song I purchased on ITunes, it is "unreadable". Any way to fix this? Thanks.

Check what the audio file is, is it mp3 or acc etc our song can't read some formats. In itunes you can convert songs to mp3 try doing that.
