Most cell phone can fit on top of the touch screen. Between the air vent and the back of the touch screen. The only issue is phone might fall of when turning. Let me know if someone has a solution.

Solution: Keep your phone in the cellphone bay under your Nav screen and stop playing with your phone while driving...

I drive for lyft and the phone needs to be in the line of sight if the customer. So I'll rephrase OP's question. Any ideas on how to keep it from sliding short of velcro?

I don't play with the phone while driving this is being used for navigation and audio.

So, Bervzci1, did you come up with a solution, or did you just post all those pics with your phone just sitting loose up there?

Not yet, too many photos got posted by mistake. So far I found if you have a rubber casing on the phone it will stay in place, but i am still working on it.

Doesn't Android Auto provide navigation + sound? Why not use AA instead? Get to use the bigger 7inch screen instead of the tiny 5 inch

I'm still not sure why you wouldn't just get a phone mount like the one I recommended earlier. It seems like the easiest option.
