Cell phone mount for this location?

Hello, see the attached picture.

Does anyone use or know if there is a cell phone mount that attaches to the space here in between the head unit and the steering wheel?

Or really anything that is the same height as the head unit and flush with the head unit ?

Not that I have found. I put one from Verizon on the vent on the left side of the steering wheel and ran the USB cable under the dashboard.

I picked up this car mount off Amazon

I considered putting it exactly where you were thinking, but I ended up putting it on the other side in the end. It's possible that it could work on the side you're looking at, but I never really gave it a look once I decided that the far side was better.
