I posted awhile back on possible wing extensions. Caruse wing looked the best so I decided to give it a try. Got the wing in the mail today. Quick install - about 30min. Ordered early Sept (pre-order) and arrived on Dec 20. I believe the wing is still on pre-order for the next batch.

Here are some pics of the install:
Packaged nicely with bubble wrap inside

Comes with enough double-sided tape for install and a metal logo to put on the wing if you want

The wing is transparent black. It's important to note when you look from above, it does NOT show the 3m double sided tape inside

Pros: fairly priced, good quality, easy to install and perfect fitment (at least for me)
-protects paint on wing
-bigger wang

cons: unsure how it will affect overall aerodynamics

I'll post pics during daytime. Happy Holidays everyone

They did a nice job on the design but IMO the materiel used looks terrible, reminds me of window visors lol.

How does the material look terrible?? It's very sturdy and looks great!! I'm sure they tried different material's during design, but this was the best option for longevity and ease of installation.

What would you suggest they make it out of??

Yeah I guess it looks ok if you want your wing to match your rain visors. Like I said its a great design, just not a fan of material used. Personally I like carbon fiber aero for my car. Everyone has their own style, if you like it that's awesome!

This looks nice! Definitely a tempting piece. Does the wing feel pretty sturdy on there?

i would prefer carbon as well but i would have been happier if they used the same glossy black plastic as the OEM wing imo

Exactly, I think they match my window visors perfectly and the reason that I chose to leave this wing on instead of my carbon fiber Verus wing.

Yea, it's rock solid. The front of it wraps around the front of the spoiler and it just sits on top. The tape just locks it in place.

Yea, there is no way it’ll fly out at high speeds because it cups the front wing portion. What are everyone’s thoughts on putting the caruse emblem right under the rear “type R” emblem?

Looks great! Curious if it actually does anything for aerodynamics.

Outside pic. Still haven’t decided where to put the caruse logo

Yeah I have been debating the logo on the front middle or the rear middle. I think either two spots or even not even on all look great. Great pic by the way. I need to get my car back in the road to shoot some more angles. I'm also looking forward to the caruse type R specific midwing to match with this wing. I have been bugging them for the past 6 months on that.

@Volksparts

did they confirm a mid wing on the type R or are they thinking about it?That’ll be cool if they did.

I don’t mind using the logo either.. but what do you think of these placements?
