I went over the manual and it really doesn't say anything about how fast you can go in L mode just at this as it's for braking on hills and going up hills or whatever kind of a vague description what they actually do. I will have to try it inL mode the next time I'm out in it.
Quickest way to accelerate. Just pulls n pulls. Stays pegged at 6000rpm and no more fake shift crap. I have a video in another thread.

most of our beloved muscle cars wernt that fast either. reason was the tires. i heard it stated that street tires of today are better than the slicks of yesteryear. i think my 66 ss 396 4 spd (325hp motor) might have only done mid 14's. no i sold it in 1974 for 600 dollars.

I saw some ppl somewhere saying L is giving the quickest 0-60 time. Never tried it tho..think it was on youtube
Yep ... @NorthernEX-T and I have mentioned this a few times. I have personally done 0-123 in L ... it just stays at peak power (6000 - 6200). Car and Driver said it's quicker to 60 by about 0.2 seconds.

L is not for up too 30mph. L is the quickest way to accelerate in these cars. It gets rid of the fake shifting. I have personally driven the car too 100+ mph and it will keep going.
Good to see you setting these folk straight ... knew I could count on you.

Just don't want anyone to loose a race by a fender because they didn't have they're car in L!

I can't believe I'm still the only one who has taken they're 16 civic down the 1/4 mile. I want some real world times to compare mine too (15.46@89) Can't wait for the cooler temps to come so I can try L (Low) with a full throttle boost launch (only did 1/2 throttle last time because I was scared I'd blow my CVT lol) and see if I can run a 14.99! I tried a full throttle boost launch last week and the car loves it, it will chirp the tires so a split second! Try iiiiiiit @87Si89Base16EXT :drive:
