I'm not planning on selling the car but with the market the way it is, I wanted to see what I could fetch for my car.
It's a 2021 model Civic Type R. It's stock and I have under 5k miles on the car. Pretty much brand new.
Anyways, this is more for anyone who was interested or curious to what they might get for their type R.

damn! fosho, that's what's up. my pops bought a $60k lexus about the same time as me and they're offering him $40k for it and he has about the same miles as me too. the type R has crazy value. ^^

In April when I was looking for a CTR, there were three LE's at dealers near me.
The dealers were asking $52-55K at the time for them.
Should have bought all of them.

It only makes sense to sell if you're significantly downgrading or banking the cash. Anything remotely cool is through the roof right now.

The next car up the chain from the CTR that excites me is over $100K......so even $50K doesn't tempt me lol

Not crying over unrealized gains on unbought CTRs either. In case anyone hasn't noticed, the market has been way up from the beginning of the pandemic.....in line (if not higher) than appreciated CTR prices. No need to store/maintain an LE for profit either, just log in to your brokerage account while you sip on some tea in your boxers.
