carbon hood vs. under hood temps?

I am about to mount the new cf hood (non vented) and have it wrapped with clear uv protective ppf. was wondering if the underhood temps could cause the cf to fade? would a more open front grill help mitigate the temps to combat fade? I'd like to keep the hood looking as nice as possible for as long as i can.
