I wanted to do something to make my pillars look a little different than the plain stock look. I thought about going with glossy black replacements but I know from experience they tend to get badly scratched. I covered my last car with carbon fiber look vinyl and it looked great so I did the same to my Civic EX-L. I think it looks pretty damn good. And, if down the road I decide to change them, they just peel off.

Looks good! Did you take off the pillars to wrap them?

I like it! Would you mind taking a picture of the entire car to see if it's visible/subtle?

I used some carbon fiber vinyl I had from other projects I did in the past.

The problem is that in a photo from a distance you'd hardly notice (at least not with my camera). It's a subtle mod and functional too. You won't see fingerprints from closing the door using the pillar posts.

I did the same thing on mine and I like the look of it. I hate the glossy trim that they put there.

I did the same thing with mine, but removed it after a couple weeks. I liked the higher contrast of the black stock pillars.

Even a gloss black wrap would look good. I have my roof wrapped in carbon vinyl, I should consider doing this also.
