Carbon fiber interior trim pieces.

so I plan on buying this pieces to cover the black plastic on my shifter. I know it supposed to cover it but I don’t want to stick up and look janky. Can I pull the black trim out and just stick this in place of that? Also I’m getting the steering wheel piece and the question is the same.

I doubt you can do this but I did see someone on IG selling a "real" carbon fiber replacement for that section and includes the boot for the shifter aswell.

It's just a stick on, it's hard shell plastic but not a replacement. I have one on mine and it looks pretty good.
